  1. Dirty 11’s at the lot, 11 Mike Tyson’s : 1 Jungle boy

  2. Regular 11’s near stables, 11 inv row : 1 Big boy

  3. Came back to flag for Mary: cherry pickers, perfect form merkins, flutters, big boys.

  4. Ended with COT. Heihei is moving soon so we pray his move goes well.

Second F

Today I had to impromptu Q and it turned out pretty good. I had an even group of 10 and couldn’t let that opportunity pass so almost everything had a partner component.

Warm up

Mosey to upper lot 5-10-15-10-5 at the light poles of CDD and Big Boys. Pledged at senior center.

Dora: 100 squats, 200 merkins, 300 LBC, 400 dips

The dips got a ton of grumbling but I could care less.

Went to horse track and did 11’s of Squat x Inv row.

Pallbearer called me a douche but I think he was just missing his friend and was thinking about him.

Ended with a plank hold while partner did a run down the gravel road and back, switch roles.

Moseyed back to COT just in time.

Everyone got a thorough beat down and it was a great push from all PAX.

Apr. 13 Convergence where the honey hunters used to play. 7am, stay for Community Foundation run or ya mom’s a hoe.

Off the Hip

This morning 8 Great Apes 🦍 emerged from their fart sacks to take on a beat down in the gloom. There was even a wild Stogie lurking in the distance 🦧 doing his own thing.

General Warm up commenced the punishment.

We then moseyed to the senior center doing 10 big boys per light/whenever I said so. I believe we came close to 100 in total. From there we pledged it out and went to the adjacent lot. Dirty 11’s was the call with CDD’s on one end and HR Merkins on the other. After the uppers were smoked, we went to the horse track for more fun. Regular 11’s with Dips on one end and Inverted rows on the other. We moseyed back and had COT.

Announcements: Q school this weekend to better understand the “why” of F3 and how we run our workouts. This is a good opportunity for all new and seasoned PAX. Huck is undergoing a minor procedure that may not require him to have a transplant thank God. BallJoint’s sacrum is healing nicely per X-rays.

Cold Shower

Today I Q’ed and we did the following:

Warm-up and mosey to blocks.

WOD: 5-10-15-20 ascent of thrusters, alpo’s, and side to side merkins. After each round, run a lap around stables.

second round, same rep scheme but block press, WWIII, and windshield wipers.

Took it back to COT for 2 min of big boys.

Shout out to Rugged Ron and his unbreakable heart. Praying for you, Stogie!

Bold

General WU,

To the blocks: 10 burpees/light pole x 5 =50

10 plyo merkins on block, 10 block swings, 10 alpo’s with block. Run lap, 9,9,9. 8.8.8, etc. Had to Omaha at 1.

To COT: 10 burpees/light pole x 5 =50

Time.

BOLD:

”If God is for us, who can be against us” from Romans 8:31.

Knowing God is for us is amazing and empowering. This fundamental truth through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ should have us all pumped up. Society on the other hand tries to mute us, make us docile little sadclowns that clock in, clock out, and repeat. F3 has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone, grow in my faith, stand firm in it, and act boldly with faith the God is for me.  I aim to honor him in thought word and deed of course and trust in good faith he will handle the rest. Carry yourself boldly, in a way that will honor God, and trust in good faith that he is for you and will not forsake you. The world will try and put you down but it doesn’t have crap on our almighty God.

Ginger snap ft. Keisha

Everyone showed up. We warmed up.

We went to the dorito and did 1 workout per corner:

5 Merkins, 5 Big boys, 5 Jungle boy squats.

Repeat 5x.

We then went to the Iron Pax parking lot and sh!t hit the fan.

We racked and stacked 4 corners:

10 merkins, 20 squats, 30 mtn climbers, 40 hammers

While this was happening, a pair would break off and go flip our new friend Keisha since she’s far to big to be flipped solo. Only a select few are wild enough to take Keisha on by themselves.

It didn’t work. So I brought out my inner tiny man napoleon dictator side and just bossed everyone around.

We returned Keisha to the trailer and repeated the Dorito WOD.

Moseyd to AO lot and did some Mary so she wouldn’t get jealous of Keisha.

Ended with COT, prayers to the Hall family, Turtleman, Huck, the Hester family, Balljoint, Oompa, and several others.

Shout out David Tepper

Here’s a picture of my wienke, shoutout Epstein.

Warm up:

SSH, Gravel Pickers, Moroccan Night clubs, and a new one called David Teppers or just Teppers.

Mosey’ed to the parking lot where I had 10 stations set up. Tabata style: 40 on, 15 off x3, rotate.

Made out way back for COT.

We pray for Wirenut’s mother and uncle battling illness.

We pray for Brillo, Sarlacc’s son returning to service.

We pray for Turtleman, Huck, Oompa, Balljoint, and the Hall family.

Where’s Stogie?

We got after it in the gloom this AM.

WU:

  • High knees, jog
  • Butt kickers, jog
  • A skip, jog.

WOD:

  • Jog to front parking lot, 5 big boys/light pole.
  • Pledge it out.
  • Partner Dora: 100 thrusters, 200 HR Merkins, 300 LBC. One man did reps, the other did a lap. Switch.
  • Triple nickel at horse arena: 5 split squats, up bleachers, 5 merkins.
  • Had to Omaha due to time.
  • On the run back for COT we legit thought Stogie had got got by the gherkin.
  • Had COT once everyone was accounted for.

Happy Thanksgiving fellas! Have fun at Ultimate Frisbee. Please get the Christmas party forms and backblasts done for the year!

Saturdays are for the boys

Today was all about building some camaraderie amongst the PAX. Yes, we all show up and grind but sometimes you just gotta let loose and have fun with it!

Warmed up with some SSH, R/L, L/R, Hurdle stretch, figure 4 stretch, 5 big boys, 5 Mike Tyson’s, 5 burpees, mosey to far parking lot across the field.

We did 3 renditions of Route 66:

  1. Bear crawl with Mike Tysons

  2. Lunge walk with air squats

  3. Crab walk with big boys.

After a quick grind we played ultimate frisbee on the field and I was happy to see everyone had a good time.

Balljoint had some clutch catches and passes.

Volt was grinning ear to ear for once.

Stogie was a monster on defense.

Gearwrench was all over the field.

Chubbs was an absolute beast (MVP)

I like to think I had a few nice throws.

Westside has an absolute cannon.

Bedpan had a great all round performance.

At the end we did pledge and COT, thanking God for the day, for each other, and for the physical health to be able to do what we do. We pray specifically for the Hall family and for others spoken and unspoken.

Kraken Humpers

Today we basically did IPC “We are not Professionals”.

Bedpan and Montross created a new workout.

We also did a triple nickel at the hill with nothing but big boys.

Everyone got about 2 miles in and the hard work was appreciated gentlemen.
