Cannot remember exactly what we did. I know we used the frisbee on the big soccer field. A person would throw it as far as they could. we would jog to the frisbee and then have to sprint the rest of the field. It was a gasser.

Finished w/ some frisbee (by pax demand)

John 19:30 ESV

“‘Tetelestai’ means it is finished, it stands finished, and it will always be finished! The debt is paid in full! When He gave himself on the cross, Jesus fully met the righteous demands of a holy law. He paid our debt in full. The Lamb of God shed His blood, and that blood can take away the sins of the world.”

The Post Apocalyptic Lowes Foods Gas Station

5 HIMs and 1 Scrat brought rucks and did some stuff.  Runners left, and we started with Merkins.  Wrong call I guess.  A good Q adjusts for the PAX.  We walked around and did a lot of Double Crunches, American Hammers, Hello Dollies, Upright Rows & Overhead Presses.  We also went through the drive through and visited what was once a booming gas station that has seen better days.  I’m sure it could’ve been better.

PT Test – Short Course

Doing the PT test the day after the Murph might not be a wise choice, but YHC isn’t really known for being wise. Due to the fact that we’ll be doing this again at the end of summer the run portion was shortened to laps around the small soccer field. Even with the short laps it was a tough test and everyone pushed through and got in a good workout. I’m sure we’ll see some of the PAX have even better times when we run it back in a few months.

I’m Broke

Zero Dark Thirty

I met a group of men a little over 15 years ago who get up and meet early in the morning for devotions and to hold each other accountable. They referred to their meeting time as “zero dark thirty” (note that they made this reference years before the movie came out). That phrase came to my mind when the M asked me last night what time I was getting up to go run in the morning. At least seven other men were up at that time and we assembled on the sidewalk as we counted ruckers and runners. It was evenly divided with four of each… nope, wait, someone Omaha’ed… three ruckers and five runners! We said the pledge and then headed out. We lost Buckeye somewhere on the course and he may still be out there running miles of loops around Belmont, but the rest of us made it back safely.
