Coming Out Of Quarantine

The GLOOM was beautiful on this May morning. Rumor had it that the “godfather” Dolph was going to be there and he was expecting a good beatdown! So YHC started turning the wheels on the beatdown machine and here is what it gave us…

The Folsom Chalice

7 HIM’s come out to Folsom this wet and dreary morning to go on a quest. That quest was to find the Folsom Chalice. The location of this treasure was unknown.  What does the chalice look like? We did not know, but we were all up to the challenge and ready to put in some work.

The Thang

  • 30 LBC’s at each light.
  • 10 Big Boys to turn left
  • 20 Merkins to turn right
  • 30 Squats at the speed bump
  • Each PAX take a turn on the direction we go.

The Quest – Written like an 80’s role playing video game.

Then.. like a child at Christmas morning, Round Up is filled with joy as sees the chalice.  He looks at YHC with the biggest smile.  YHC tells him to go and retrieve his treasure.

With our quest completed and our hearts full of joy, together, we then completed the above again but in reverse back to the flag.

No storm at the Storm this morning as 9 Pax  came out ready to work. YHC had a plan for rain or no rain. It didn’t rain..an answer to prayer.

From the Exicon: An exercise group of movements performed in successive fashion without rest; generally these are performed in multiples (e.g. ALARM 1 = Shoulder Press, Lunge, LBC, Run, Merkin). Notice the A, L, A exercises don’t have to begin with the letters A,L,A..just to clarify to pax who thought otherwise. Better I provide the clarification; you don’t want Freight on ya about it. He knows his Exicon front and back. Believe me, I know..yikes!

It’s All About the Hair

9 PAX came out to Hollywood as YHC substituted for Goldigger who is out of town. But, no worries, he’ll be back strong to Q at the Goat this week.

Much discussion around hair today: Pillager beat Sargento for “Best Bedhead”; Slaw crossing state lines today for cut; Tesla will do the same tomorrow, hoping his barber shows; Broke told me prior that he thought he would just keep his beard; Freon and SA, both neat and trim; Gump, we’re just glad you’re here, otherwise he kept his hair hidden; Dirt still looks like Spencer Tracy. YHC, well if it wouldn’t have been for a friend with a set of clippers, I considered-for two seconds- a trip to SA’s garage.

Then mosey to an end parking space. 1st guy give me a arm exercise, move to next space and guy for a Ab workout, move to next space for a leg. Rinse and repeat unti the 20 spaces were finished.

The Moleskin:

This morning was listed as open but I did not know that. Watts Up and I decided since Whoopee was pulling up that he would be Q. Then he was running and would take all on a run. We quickly ignored him and then I took the Q.
