And so it was just as was foretold in the ancient texts of volume 30 of the Earthbound Chronicles by the esteemed SumJuan Noboddie that in the earliest of hours on the 28 th day of the August month a man named Calvin ….. errr sorry Clavin should step boldly out of the shadows and into ….. well …..deeper shadows …. you see ….. well maybe you can’t see as it’s still pretty darn early and no other life seems to really care about moving around at this time but that he should boldly proclaim at that top of his lungs in s mighty thunderous mouselike voice ( now where is the likes of William Wallace or even our very own Tool Time …. ) that the “ previously confusing AO named Gastone likes Martha Snows balls in the Dark of Night will henceforth and for all time ( very loose translation … perhaps the text has been misinterpreted as too many people were seen eating chocolate over these sacred texts …. so who really knows … or cares at this point as I continue to ramble on ….) as The Labyrinth!”

Let’s turn the clock back to the start of workout and I call for all to face our flag and honor our great country in the Pledge of Allegiance

Now I give part of a disclaimer that we WILL be clocking in some miles and I was seeking information as to who were not strong runners and for them to keep arms raised while those like Stroganoff, Defib and Gastone would partner up with them ( I needed no partner as I was Q and thankfully this is one of those moments where you want an odd number) The objectives were for those partner groups to either complete a task at each location or to move on to the next so as to keep the group moving towards goal that I had in mind . Moron that later.
5 burpees oyo
Mosey to park opening where I hear mumble about a better disclaimer …. so I oblige … this workout was inspired by one of the exercises led by Turtleman that may or may not have been recorded in a backblast from the last 2 months so if there is anyone to sue take all your claims to him! So to honor him we must do 20 big boy sit ups! Now we move onto Clavins hill and much mumble chatter about who in their right mind name stuff after themselves… Well Gastone has a Hill named after him……and his Hill is bigger than mine ….. I need to talk with Gump ; maybe he’ll choose another hill …….so we about face and deliver 20 monkey humpers at the hill!
Now over to the picnic shelters for 10 dips oyo and then short mosey to pull up bar and 5 pull ups …. next we truck on over to Gastone’s Hill and 1 Merkin at each mailbox ( right side only ) and reconnect back at base.
From there we Frogger across Union Road to Robinson Elem at the steps around back for one set of 11 … 10 monkey humpers and one burpee at bottom …. much mumble chatter about how we have really set the woods afire with 6 burpees so far…. once again Moron that later!
Frogger back across Union Road and reconnect at wall near Food Puppy facing the defunct Auto Hell for wall sits … and were all here … insert mumble about various individuals left behind …. including YHC ( wishful thinking !) and a new fun activity from Tigers workout called Suspension Merkins for 10 count oyo … these engage your core as Tiger mentions in his backblast ( I love to read ALL backblast as I can glean new fun stuff from others as well as stay on top of what’s happening! )
Mosey over to the ole Harry Peeter site where I divulge that I only recently learned we may no longer have that parking lot for our playground as Planet Fitness is very likely the renovating force to which there was much cheering about someplace to go when it rains and bathroom access… so let’s give them 20 more monkey humpers oyo.
Move to loading dock and jump up bear crawl down ramp and do 5 more burpees for a grand total of…. 11. Big whoop.
Mosey to wall at bank near start for 10 dips IC and 10 step ups each leg ….
Oh wow , there’s still 7 minutes on the clock did not know if time would permit so quick mosey to old doctor office and ask Turtleman his fav exercise there … what else …. broad jump to light! Back to start keep hearing mumble about… nearly 3 miles …. cool!
Easy Rider calls every one on six ( here’s a real go getter !!) for flutter kicks …. Gastone says we lack .09 miles …. so I call on ER to stop at 10 ….. suddenly he’s calling another set of 10!!! No kidding !!! We have 2 minutes so quickly follow Gastone around building and there’s 3 miles, and there’s time …. finally!

Finally announcements and suddenly Whoopee and Watts Up are both singing the praises of running …. they were so excited that they were calling not only for Diablo Sammich to be canceled tomorrow in deference to The Pub But that they were considering even closing Diablo for good!! Thankfully Stroganoff was present and B… slapped Whoopee until he saw the light . However he continually all day has been texting and calling me to come join my M and I in our runs in the neighborhood … and to sign up for this 5 K, marathon or other! The last sentence may or may not be partially true ….. or false …. your choice!
Announcements for Stop soldier suicide 5k, Christmastown 5k, JJ5k, Stair climb for FF and 9/11, BRR, BRR ruck, Labor Day Murph led by Defib at 7:00 starting in Martha Rivers and no Neverneverneverland but anyone seeking EC can join TimeFrame who plans to be present early
YHC prayed us out

Moleskin: of this workout, many picked up on my idea of showcasing the highlights/ lowlights ( your choice) of many of the locations all over this area used by YHC and others and some of the activities as well. This is NOT to say that this is all we have to offer ,,,, not even close just for examples one workout Hushpuppy had us run halfway down Union Road circle his bank and do Walls of Jericho (to knock down ATM machine I think but since we lacked s horn it didn’t work), another time had T- Square in parking lot of Funeral parlor and then there’s the time Island ran and ran and ran over to the new Hairless Teeter and we ran sprints and jumped for some crazy reason !! These are only a small shot. It was a lot of fun and I was amazed how all HIMs worked hard to complete all tasks even after I said at start to modify in order to make all stations! Great work ! I even saw a small droplet of sweat on Defib! Lastly, million dollar question of the day …. why a new name ? ….. let’s do the math Martha’s House ( not very manly) Dark/ Black Night/ Knight ….. confusing and led to MUCH jokes ( cool name ) though but any design for the AO may be fraught with copyright infringement troubles and lastly Snoballs …. this is a location , not a real strong name leading to a design …. although my first idea was … Balls
Gastone had me to think hard on how this one may not be received very well. Manly, but not quite there….. so I thought about how there were so many trails, directions and if you look at the map of Martha Rivers esp with the baseball fields … they remind me much of a maze , or Labyrinth … now add the Minotaur ….. Strong Like Bull ! ….. ultimately I’d love to see a shirt design ( overdue ) for here and even Neverland …. was there ever one for Downtown?( could be awesome)
