“He, who was always God, became what He was not, a human being. Christ humbled Himself voluntarily. We must humble ourselves, now, before Him. We, too, must choose humility. He went to the cross, taking our place.” Exalting Jesus in Philippians

YHC took us out.

Always an honor,

Accelerate and Disrupt

19 HIMs on a cold, but sunny morning at Crossroads for a run or ruck. Great to see these guys accelerating individually and as part of the whole group!

I believe we had 16 stay for Q Source on DRP: Daily Red Pill. In short, continue to accelerate. You can’t stand still, for if you do, you are actually decelerating. As Disruptors, let’s make it a goal to seek out and reach out to Kotters and Sad Clowns.

Set some goals for the new year: spiritual, work out, eating, etc. John 17 is Jesus’ prayer before He gives His life for us. “Spiritual priorities in this prayer (from Warren Wiersbe’s book Be Transformed): the glory of God; the practical, holy living of God’s people; the unity of the church; sharing gospel with the lost. We today would be wise to focus on these same priorities.”

YHC took us out

Name-o-rama

Great to have Slaw back; Bubba Sparxx for his second week; Clampett from Charlotte; Geezer, whom I don’t work out with often; Gavel, Pillager, Freon who are consistent in Hollywood; and Buckeye, EC or no EC, always a pleasure. If you weren’t here, you WERE missed.

School Daze at Midoriyama

8 Pax came out for a few-and-far-between Midoriyama Q by YHC.

Lesson learned: Don’t wait so long next time. Midoriyama and the crew there are a blast.

So, just like in school [good grief]:

We discussed astronomy;

There was plenty of talking [aka mumblechatter] when the teacher was talking;

Contradicting of the teacher [Q]: we’re doing BLIMPS, not the BLART.

That one who doesn’t listen and follow directions but goes off on their own-still talking-despite the fact that they were told not to;

YHC had to reinforce basic counting skills and pull back the reins and do Imperial Walker Squats IC to keep some pax true to the count;

That one who can’t make up his mind and takes forever when asked to respond;

Teacher {or Q} forgets the name of his student {pax};

Technology issues [with lighting].

Pledge

Fantastic Fall Morning and “Failure” at Crossroads

6 runners today at Crossroads. Beautiful morning, great temperatures and no rain!

You guys motivate me in various ways, for which I am thankful!

Q Source on “Failure” today. It takes failure, and lots of it, to refine a leader.  We have all failed, at some point, as leaders. But let’s use that as a learning experience and grow from it.

Great work by the Ville-to-Ville team! Keep up the running!

Huck joined us for Q Source.

Nice work today, men!
