Warm-up

Mosey to Four Square Church parking lot

did a handful of exercises and then continued mosey to the American Legion where we said the pledge and the. 21 merkins.

Moseyed to baseball field for some 11s up/down hill.

10 burpees at bottom of hill with 1 merkin at top. Rinse and repeat shifting reps, 9 and 2, 8 and 3, and so on until 1 burpee at bottom and 10 merkins at top.

The Fighting Yank – 10/21/23

While all the ruckers were out rucking a half marathon, someone had to take Q at The Bunker, I mean The Fighting Yank. YHC promised no running the day before, so forgot we were actually at the Yank where we like to get in some running during the boot camp.

Fellowship skip down to the bunker where there were 14 stations setup with 14 different exercises.
Find a station to start and perform that exercise for a minute, then 20 seconds to move to next station for EMOM working your way through all stations. Rinse and repeat two rounds.

Butt kicks up out of bunker back the the Yank.

Fighting Yank – 9/23/23

Mosey to back parking lot of old middle school where YHC parked car loaded with fun toys for all the PAX.

Warmup

The Thang:

PAX divides into four groups, with each group bringing their coupon to their designated corner. They perform the specified exercises 10 times at each corner before proceeding to the next one. However, before moving on to the next corner, they must bring their coupon to the center for 2 burpees, and then they can proceed to the next corner.

Station 5 – Side Lunges 10x each side

Station 6 – 40x SSH

Station 7 – Butt Kicks across courts, high knees coming back

Station 8 – suicides had court

Station 9 – Karaoke across court

Station 10 – 5 Burpees

Rinse and repeat until Q calls time

Hill Repeats at The Storm (09/19/23)

Maybelline was scheduled to Q this morning, however he wasn’t feeling well and put out on Slack Monday afternoon asking if anyone would take the Q for him. After several hours and no PAX stepping up to lead, what does a good site Q do, he takes the lead. Well, YHC had planned to do some hill repeats as EC Tuesday morning but decided to get a few extra minutes of sleep and incorporate the hills into the workout.

It’s 5:30am and time to put in the work!

At bottom of hill, 5xSSH, run to top of hill for 5xHRMs, rinse and repeat 5x. That is a long hill!

Mosey back down to the round about in front of school for a round of various called exercises and then up to the school for some more.

Sometimes you don’t plan your activities out with a lot of thought and sometimes you do to make sure you’re doing the hard things. YHC signed up for today’s Q knowing it was following the Peak to Peak CSAUP on Sunday. It was challenging to get up this morning and go lead a workout, legs were definitely tired and sore from the 11 some miles hiked across Crowders Mountain.
