Sunday Convergence

25 HIMS and a Leg showed at Crossroads for a Run/Ruck Convergence.  An awesome group of guys came out to fellowship and to push the rock a little.  Broke was our lone rucker and absolutely killed it.   The rest of us ran , with a lot of guys putting in EC.  Great work by all today.  I really enjoy the Sunday run and both Coconut Horse and Crossroads continue to have solid numbers.  So it was really awesome to have both groups together today.  Honored to have LEG with us today.

Accelerating

13 High Impact Men (HIM’s) started the morning pushing the rock. Some rucked 5 miles, some ran 5 miles. Roadie was there to encourage even with an injured ankle! Aye! Pizza Man rucked so it was unusual to see him for more than just a few seconds. Mayor was talking which is always a treat. I saw Hacksaw running with a ruck. Broke and Gold Digger ran up front and also a little EC over 6 miles total. Breaker Breaker pulled me the distance with some nice conversation as we chased Blart, Gumby, Roundup, Moses and Barrel Racer. Thanks Breaker! Most stayed for coffee. Sister Act started Roadie on the iced coffee a while back and I think he is addicted. Mayor took his wife some coffee. Ain’t he sweet? That Mayor is always politicking! Short talk about accelerating, not just in fitness but every part of our life and relationships. We need to not be satisfied with where we’ve been but push to be better! Prayers for Gumby’s father in law, Hacksaw’s daughter and family traveling, Slaw’s travels.

Lead By Example

10 HIMS resisted the fartsack this morning and pushed the rock at Crossroads.  2 rucked and 8 ran today.  Awesome group of guys out here today, way to push.

Awesome time out here this morning.  Thanks for the opportunity to lead you guys.  Some great discussions today about our roles as men.  We are to Lead By Example.  Whether it be as a coach, friend, brother, husband, or father, we should strive to be the example for someone else.   Continue to push that rock fellas.

Telephone Pole?

11 HIMS showed this morning for a run/ruck at Crossroads.  What beautiful weather we had to get out here and push the rock on a cooler than normal July morning.  This AO is continuing to have steady numbers and 1 FNG decided to make his debut this morning.   Welcome Barrel Racer (Bruce Adams) to the F3 brotherhood.  He is a beast and I’m sure if you are in the Stanley area you have seen him running at some point.  6 rucked today and 5 put in miles running.   Not sure what’s going on with the ruckers, but they are getting after it and breaking out all kinds of ways to push themselves.  All I know is Roadie brought a telephone pole, and they take off rucking carry that thing.  I believe it was dropped off at Folsom, so I’m sure it will get used in the future.  Way to push guys!

It’s Our Day!!

12 HIMS showed for an awesome Father’s Day run/ruck at Crossroads.  With most of the pax present being fathers, what a great opportunity to get “Our Day” started by pushing the rock.

Great work by all men today.  3 rucked and 9 ran some miles.  Broke, Roadie, and Salinski blistered the ruck pace today.   I think Broke ran the last mile with his ruck sack on, Beast Mode!  Tool Time and Pizza Man smoked their 5 miles.  Slaw, Round-Up, Blart, Gumby, and Def Leppard consistently pushed the rock as always.  My boy Sparky, well, lets just say it was business as usual for him.  Mix in a couple pitstops, and he ran 4.6 miles at a sub 8 average.  For the record, the horse stalls were left fresh and unscathed.

It’s the first of the month

This is the second week of F3 Gastonia’s newest AO, “Crossroads”.  It is really incredible to see the way the PAX continues to push the rock and run/ruck each week.  With that said, 7 HIMS posted this am. (4 rucked and 3 ran)  This AO has all kinds of options from 5 miles or you can modify the route to whatever your body allows you to do.  Great work was done by all!!!

Crossroads

9 HIMS showed for a beautiful Sunday morning run at our newest run/ruck AO, Crossroads.  The last couple of months or so our region has really seen an increase in the interest and participation in running or rucking.  We have all witnessed PAX push themselves to do things that they thought they couldn’t or  wouldn’t ever accomplish.   From PAX  doing EC during the week, to the explosion in numbers of those posting at the Coconut Horse.  With this sustained growth, the plan to start another run/ruck AO on Sunday, is one that our 1st F Q Pizza Man had talked about and started to plan for.  The mission of F3 is to, “Plant, Grow, and Serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership”.  Men, the need to plan for new sites is truly a good problem to have.   Another location equals another opportunity to reach out to a Sad Clown, which we all were at some point.   F3 has been a blessing to me, and I am honored to be a part of this group of men.

Now, to the workout.  Pretty basic.  2 men rucked and 7 men ran.  3,4, or 5 miles were completed, but we all pushed the rock.  Appreciate all that were able to make it out to todays launch of this AO.  The Lord blessed us with a beautiful morning.
