8 Pax came out for my birthday Q at Midoriyama. I mentioned that I am now 20 and that I was born in the year 2004. After it was said there was some mumblechatter on how young I am and how old the rest of the Pax were. I explained most of the exercises would consist of 20s and or 4s but not exclusively.

Warm Up:

I don’t remember

Lap around the parking lot to the blocks meet in the corner of the parking lot

Thang:

4 rounds of 4 different exercises with 20 reps each

First Round

20 merkins on block

20 pull throughs

20 squats with block

20 tricep extension

Take a lap

Second Round

20 overhead press

20 bicep curls

20 block swings

20 chest press

Take a lap

Third Round

20 blockys

20 jumps over block

20 heels over block

20 American hammers

Take a lap

Fourth Round

20 thrusters

20 rocky balboas

20 merkins

20 Alpoes

Take a lap

Then we did 11s

Overhead press and Merkins

Put blocks up

Mosey over to the wall for wall sits while one person runs around the building until everybody has ran.

20 merkins to end.

Thanks to all the Pax who showed. Very grateful for the privilege to be sharpened physically and spiritually by all these great men.

Midoriyama 3/28/24

Great weather for a VQ. I brought out a lot of old people to the workout with the VQ announcement I made. I also had to back up my words with a good workout so that’s what we did.

Started off with a quick introduction and warmup. As I called the first stretch, the first VQ test came as they all at the same time started complaining and taunting to try to get me off, but I persisted. We then moseyed across the street to the paved trail. There we did a 10, 20, 30, 40 stack workout. We started at the top with 10 then ran around the trail and stopped at each bench to stack each workout. 10 Mike Tyson’s, 20 American Hammers, 30 Squats, and 40 Merkins. After the Merkins were finished we down stacked and went back 40, 30, 20, then 10. After the six was in we moseyed over to the hill near the lake and did a triple nickel. Squats at the top and dips at the gazebo. Time was running short so we finished and gathered back up at the flag there we did 5 minutes of merry to end.

I’m grateful for each one of you that showed up for my VQ. Your support made it a blast and can’t wait to Q more.

Ultimate Frisbee

7 men showed up for a nice fair game of ultimate frisbee. With that being said it was 4 vs 3. Me, Broke, and Gavel vs Freight, Leppard, Slaw, and Oompa. It was a good game until about half way into it Freight took off on a sprint and fell straight to the ground with a calf injury. That made it a 3 on 3 and we ended up finishing the game. Dont remember who won this is a late backblast but we’ll say my team won.
