Big crew at Ranger for a Steroid Q. Despite most instructions being ignored, it seemed like everyone got in a good workout.

Bulge and I came in hot after someone was late for EC, but we found the crew and did the youge: modified half murph, 7th grade locker room jokes, complain about UNC basketball. 3 for 3.
YHC did not make the same mistake as last time and showed up at 5:15 for the 5:30 start at shark tank (which Cindy now takes credit for “making me a better man” or some such). Speaking of Cindy, he took every opportunity to mock Slaughter’s affinity for GrowRuck, which was in large part ignored. All in all we ran about 4.5 (forward and backward) miles with plenty of exercises and what felt like 4.5 miles of elevation change in the parking decks.
Just when you think SIB couldn’t get any harder with Nash at the helm, Tax Break comes in on Nash’s day off and says “hold my beer”. Lots of nearly spilled merlot today.
4 S. Charlotte PAX (plus YHC), braved the horrid conditions and torrential rain (it actually was totally fine) to get in an insane amount of miles (or 6.75) on an adventurous route (the same one we do almost every week) at blistering pace (like 8:30s). It was a good time.
Giselle bringing the heat (and the mileage) to Ranger. Many complaints about the pace, but we managed to fit in over 4 miles, a good number of exercises, and several parking decks, including the Mothership.
The usual at the Shack: 1 mile run to Queens, modified half Murph, parking deck suicides, water fountain 15s, 1 mile run back w/final 400 sprint finish. Started with 8 PAX, finished with 5.
Classic Worm…about 5 miles plus a plethora of exercises and hill repeats. Nice weather brought out a big crowd. 17-18 I think it was. If you get a chance to post anywhere out of region, this is a top choice.

Showed up at 5:25 for a 5:30 workout that had been moved to 5:15 without my knowledge. Still, ran 5 miles and did 150 merkins in 41 minutes. Seemed adequate. Will show up earlier next time.
YHC’s first Q in a hot minute, so I decided to stick with what I know.
Off we ran to the Mt. Holly pool (after a few distractions) for some mobility work, then back down the uphill to Sake (after some more distractions) for some core work. So far so good.
Now we run down the hill to Main Street for some leg work. Less pleasant. Now down Main to FBC, but stopping at every opening (road, gate, or otherwise) for Leppard Merkins.
Once at the bottom of Baptist Hill (or is it K2?), time for triple nickel with burpees (for SA) and Peter Parkers (w/o a merkin attached, unless you’re Canadian).
Time to work our way back to the flag, now stopping for jump squats at every light pole on the left, until mutiny ensued. We came up a hair short of the promised 3 miles, but some were closer than others.
Announcements: mountain climbing, convergence, and a trail 5K. You know the drill, check Slack.

Pallbearer took us out.
