The Fartsack Must Be Real

So, the fartsack must be real. I had roughly 4 HC’s and 3 SC’s on Pax that would show up to Folsom today, as well as others with potential. I have still yet to Q for more than 3 Pax. But it’s fine… we were there and we did some moving. I had planned for more running for the Pax that said they were showing (even though I hate running). I decided to change that when I showed and saw only Volt’s car. I then changed things again, at the last minute, and started making things up as I went.  Not sure to the extent of how well it all went… but at least we were out there and moving.

Though, next time it’s just me, and only few others… we may just run to Waffle House instead.

The Thang:

  • 20 SSH in cadence
  • 15 Gravel Pickers
  • 12 Mountain Man Poopers
  • Mosey to the vet road – 20 Mountain Climers OYO
  • Mosey to the next light post – 20 Plank Jacks OYO
  • Mosey to the next light post – 20 Shoulder Taps OYO
  • Mosey to top of the hill – Pledge
  • Iron Hulks… 2 rotations around the circle
  • Mosey to the neighboring parking lot – “22’s” (long 11’s – thanks to Volt from last week)
    • Stogey-style Mike Tysons (plank to a horizontal squat – no merkin)
    • Modified Dan Taylors/Lt. Dans (2 lunges + deep squat)
  • Mosey back to the parking lot – COT

Volt and I had to leave at 6am for work and other responsibilities. We got back to the COT right at 6am. I mentioned Montross could do some Captain Thors on his own after Volt and I left. He didn’t seem to keen that was going to happen. Instead of just taking off I performed a quick COT.

Announcements:

  • Montross mentioned Pappy and another Pax mentioned helping out the Least of These in Gastonia, helping out the Foster Care system.
  • Montross mentioned one of the Pax (him or Medicine Woman) were going to also check into Folsom helping the Boys and Girls Club that meets at Venture Church (about 1½ miles down the road from Folsom).

Prayer requests:

  • Praise Report for my friend Ted – Brain Surgery to remove 3 cancerous tumors went well, without any complications. He’s still in the hospital recovering and will still need to do chemo and radiation after recover. Thank God for aiding the doctors, but please keep him and his wife in your prayers.
  • Also praying for all of those out of work around the holidays – lots of layoffs happening.
  • Praying God’s will for our lives and the lives of others.

Warming the Cold Sammich

YHC almost missed this morning too (2 in a row). No family or pet problems today… just a flat tire on the truck.

Luckily we do this F3 thing in the gloom of morning, so moved the ruck to the M’s vehicle and continued on.

0530 hits and 4 are present. No sighting of the promised Kotter, maybe next time. (M had to go to work early)

We get the pledge in and take off toward Martha’s.

Past the maintenance shack and around soccer fields to end up at the playground. For a little repeat of Rudolph’s Sammich.

10 Merkins
15 Squats
20 Sec Hang

Back to the parking lot for a trip around it with some backward thrown in to return to the playground for another round.

Let’s go look for some Pubbers…

Looking at the time, YHC suspected Pubber spotting had passed, but there was still time for Gastone’s hill.

We made there, up and back with a few seconds to spare.

Announcements:
Operation Sweet Tooth coming up.

Prayer Requests:
Clavin’s M and family
Bandit’s friend’s family

Voodoo took us out.

Moleskin:
Bandit related that his friend had a 17-18 year old and within the last couple of years married his college sweetheart. Yet he took his own life.

Brothers,
We all struggle. We each have our own jesters and demons. But none of us battle alone. You have a shield lock of brothers.
Reach out to them/us.

John 10:28-29
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

Watts Up powering down.
