Skunk Mating Season?

Beautiful morning at Folsom to get in some work.  We started off with a bang. YHC couldn’t count,  MW ran from a skunk, and Bedpan reminded us all that he thinks it is skunk mating season. “Be on the look out” he said. YHC does not think it is, but it doesn’t matter in Folsom. We make up our own science. Only at Folsom, do we have the in depth conversations about nature that may or may not be true.  Marty Stouffer’s Wild America has nothing on us.

The Rubik’s Cube

It was a great day at Folsom this morning. We celebrated Pearl Jam’s birthday by wearing silly birthday hats and enjoying our time together.  Also an older gentleman and his dog just hung out with us for the work out. The Rubik’s cube today represented our lives for those of us that are Christians. We are all mixed up and not in order. We pray, repent, and ask for forgiveness and it is always provide. The time it takes for us to ask for forgiveness may vary, but we are always set anew if we repent.  We then sin, get everything mix up again and repeat the cycle.  We need to always continue to get better,  be better and strive to be like Jesus.  We will never achieve perfection, but we can not stop trying.  As Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians , “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.”

John 1:9 – “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

A special thanks goes to Windmill from F3 Burlington. He was a pleasure to meet and we hope to see him again next time that he is in town.

Unicorns are real!

Today, 10 PAX posted at Wednesday morning’s premier running AO in Dallas, NC.  We ran and got better than the day before.

What was really amazing is we saw a unicorn that is Allen Tate. As AT blabbered and spewed gibberish incoherently for several minutes with regards to topics from Trump,  Twitter and him saying “my left arm which I write with goes numb, but I shoot with my right so I am alright”, we stood in awe. It was a sight to be seen for sure.

In all seriousness, it was great to see AT post again. We all hope he makes it a habit and gets better.  #where’sHuck?

The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. .

Today marked the birthday of several celebrities.  Kevin Hart, George Bush, and the Folsom favorite 50 cent to name a few.  But today at PainLab we celebrated an 80’s movie icon, the one and only Sylvester Stallone. So lets put in the Rocky IV  and Rambo sound tracks and put in some work.

The Thang

  • 3 Sets of
    • 25 Rocky Balboas
    • 25 Inclined Merkins
    • 25 Wide Arm Merkins
    • 10 Merkins
  •  Partner Up – One lunge walks to the end parking lot and back
    • 100 Big Boys
    • 200 Flutter Kicks

    • 25 Inclined Merkins
    • 25 Wide Arm Merkins
    • 10 Merkins
  • Partner Up – One does a squat at each line in the parking lot down and back
    • 400 Hillbillies
    • 500 Imperial Walkers
    • 600 Moroccan Nightclubs

We finished strong with 50 more Rocky Balboa’s then met back up with the Gashouse for the COT.

We must remember to never give up.  As Rocky once said: “Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!”
